Before we learn it, you can also check our article about Hoverboard :Something about Balancing Scooter
STEP 1: GETTING ON THE HOVERBOARD.
First and foremost, make sure your self balancing scooter is charged. Turn the power on and put it on the ground in front of you.
Not sure about which way is the front or back? Its best to place the LED lights in the back sort of like a turn signal
STEP 2: MOVING ON THE HOVERBOARD.
Now that you’ve gotten your balance down, you can actually start riding your hoverboard.
Making your hoverboard move is easy, but there’s definitely a learning curve to it.
It’s a simple concept: you move forward and backward by leaning, or shifting your weight.
You will probably wobble around at first, but that’s fine. It happens to all of us.
You will become much more stable once you get some real riding time in.
What you want to do is put your right foot (or left, whichever is more comfortable) on the scooter.
The best thing you can do is to look in front of you—not down—and relax. Just stand.
Don’t think about moving yet, just loosen up and stand on the hoverboard
Now, to move, the best way is, just “think” of where you want to go.
As you probably already know, on a hoverboard, you lean in the direction you want to go.
This may make you think you have to do more than you actually do to move.
It’s not as much leaning as it is slightly shifting your weight. If you lean too much, you WILL fall.
So, just try going forwards first.
STEP 3: TURNING THE HOVERBOARD.
Turning your hoverboard is a similar concept. Each side of the hoverboard is independent, so you can twist each side.
Imagine you’re standing on the board. To turn left, push your right foot forward, and to turn right, push your left foot forward.
This independent foot pressure gives the twisting motion that physically moves the board.
This should come naturally, it’s almost like the scooter “knows” what you want to do.
We recommend starting out with slow, controlled turns before getting into the quick spins.
Spinning is a lot of fun once you get good at riding! You can use your skills to spin quickly in place.
STEP 4: STEPPING OFF THE HOVERBOARD.
To step off the hoverboard, you simply want to “reverse” what you did to get on.
Try to shift your balance to your dominant foot, and then step off with your non-dominant foot. Sometimes you’ll have the instinct to sort of “jump off,” but try to resist it, and do a controlled dismount.
You’ll avoid scratching your hoverboard, and possibly injuring yourself. Remember to step BACK off the hoverboard. Never try to step forward and get off the hoverboard.
If you do that, you will likely fall and endure one of those embarrassing "hoverboard fails."
Bear in mind that stepping on and off your board is probably the hardest thing of the whole process and it’s what’s going to take you the longest to master.
Practice just stepping on and off for a little while to get used to it.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND...
Like riding a bike or skateboard, a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads are recommended.
Also, make sure to have someone around if you are to riding one.
When riding, always look ahead. Looking down can sometimes throw you off.
Step right in the middle with the widest stance possible. Not too much toe, not too much heel.
And try not to bend your knee. What you want to do is have straight posture
It is really all about focusing on your core and your center of gravity to balance yourself
